Lifeline Gym Equipment

Lifeline Deluxe Portable Gym Review

Lifeline Gym

The Lifeline Gym is a pretty good little gym and it has lot of potential. The maximum resistance is 350lbs and for a something that has just a short bar and bungee cable its very impressive.

The Lifeline portable gym is targeted towards those people who are constantly on the move who have no time to stop and get a good workout while travelling. It can be setup practically anywhere and it doesn't really matter whether you're always on the go becasue it is great peice of equipment that anybody can make good use of.

Standing on the bungee cables and curling the bar up using your biceps is a basic example of how the lifeline gym is used.

There have been many lifeline gym review's around that really kiss butt and the fact that it has appeared in many sports fitness magazines and has received reviews from the likes of Sharper Image and Money we just had to give it a whirl.

Lifeline Portable Gym Equipment Information

  • 6 ft cable with handles (the resistance can be altered to 10 different levels)
  • 30" lifting bar that can be taken apart
  • Rotator handles
  • Door attachment
  • You can do some jogging with the lifeline gym as well...Yep jogging. This can be done by attaching the bungee cable to the door handle and the other end to the back of the belt. You then run against the resistance of the belt and hey presto there you have it..Jogging!!
  • Comes with carry case
  • An instruction manual from fitness expert Jon Hinds, CSCS, CPT, NASM, and former strength coach of the LA Clippers
  • Also included is a lifeline gym video

Measurements

The lifeline gym weighs an incredible 2lbs and the bar itself is 30" long. This is really great for travelling or maybe if you're a mouse who plans on getting fit.

Benefits

  • Good price
  • Very small and easily portable
  • Simple idea and design. There is not much that can go wrong with the lifeline gym and if it does cables are quite cheap and very easy to get hold of.
  • Well experienced company, as they have been around working on similar ideas for over 30 years.
  • Very reputable company

Downsides

  • You are very limited to what you can do, obviously it can't match the home gyms of over $500, but what do you expect?
  • The cables can tend to get stretched over time, so I would recommed maybe buying some at purchase.

Conclusion

I would feel very confident in buying from this company given the fact that the product is good, the company is good, and the price is good. If you require a quick, simple to put up gym then the lifeline gym could be for you.

The best place we found for someone who wants to buy the Lifeline Home Gym was shop.com. They offer the best service and the best price on the net for the Lifeline Gym
